A Bulgarian couple with a passion for building and design put their heads together to come with the concept of Koleliba which they describe as “an oiled-plywood box with broad glazing and a glass door that swings open to let in plenty of fresh air and natural light”. The Koleliba comes in three models: Original, Mini, and Family. We’re sharing the Original with you and it starts at roughly $9,000 which gets you a fully furnished and insulated tiny house on wheels.
The exterior of the home is wrapped in treated timber and has a small deck and canopy which can be pulled out to create a large outdoor space.
Inside, the home is covered in plywood and timber providing excellent insulation and a neutral backdrop for decorating. Each home comes with a custom pull-out couch and plenty of storage space throughout the home.
When folded out, the couch makes a full-sized bed with little setup needed. Above the couch/bed is a long wall of cabinets for storing clothes and gear out of sight.
The tiny house is always full of light thanks to the large glass doors that fill a full wall in the living area. These doors can be opened up to blend your indoor and outdoor areas into one large space.
The kitchen has a small bowl sink with sleek cabinets and drawers. At first glance, you may think that no appliances are installed, however, an under counter fridge is made to blend with the cabinets and is hiding in plain sight! You also have an oven built into the wall at the end of the counter.
On the other end of the home is a small bathroom area with a pull-out toilet. An outdoor shower with hot water was added instead of installing a shower stall inside.
