Some of the tiny houses that we see are the pure embodiment of “cozy” and this is one of them! Built by Lil Lodges of Bear Creek, Alabama and features on Tiny House Nation, this home has gotten tons of attention for its luxurious touches and warmth. The builders say that this was the most advanced tiny house they had ever built before. It was so advanced that it’s called a “smart cabin”.
While it’s designated a tiny house, it’s quite spacious and comfortably fits the family of four living it. They worked with the builders to make sure the house has every amenity they needed to have the life they wanted to give their children.
Judging by this living area, we’d say they pulled it off! Look at the huge stone fireplace with a mounted TV and built-in bookcases! This doesn’t look like any tiny house we’ve ever seen!
The house has a full kitchen, three bedrooms, and one full bathroom. Here you can see that kitchen has everything you could want in a full-sized kitchen including a huge refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and oven, and tons of cabinet storage!
The kitchen has a massive island with bar seating so you don’t need a separate table. And look at that ceiling! We love the reclaimed wood and the warmth it brings to the space.
The bathroom is truly incredible! It has a composting toilet and a huge shower with a showerhead that you only see in fine homes. Every inch of this bathroom is totally customized including the walls! The tile wall flows perfectly into the wood-looking tile in the shower and the stone floor.
You also have a nice sink area in the bathroom with storage below. All of the doors in this house are unique like this barn door one made with chunky wood.
The spacious master bedroom has built-in storage and large windows to let light flood in.
Upstairs, you have two loft bedrooms. The family made sure that each loft had its own personality to reflect that of the child living in it. Both are equally charming and have plenty of room for a cozy bed and storage.
One of the best features of this house is the large covered deck where the whole family can gather outside under the tin roof. We can see the family loving and living in this house for years to come.
