What stands out about the Blue Moon is of course both its distinctive blue coloring and its large sheltered patio. If you want to spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying the scenery, this is the house that you want to book for the night.
The downstairs area is large enough to accommodate both a twin size bed and a comfortable couch. A ladder leads up to a loft above. The interior shiplap walls share the blue color of the exterior in keeping with the name “Blue Moon.”
Across the room from the couch and the bed is a large dining table surrounded by high-backed chairs.
The loft is a simple affair, but it features beautiful textures and lots of open space.
In this photo, you can appreciate the artistry of those high-backed chairs as well as the dresser with the huge round mirror on the left side of the room. Across from it, you see the circle shape echoed in the custom door.
Not all of the tiny houses at Salvage Texas feature bathrooms, but this one does. There is no shower, but there is a toilet and a sink. If you want to take a shower, you need to head to the community bathhouse nearby.
The bathhouse has an attractive design which fits right in with the tiny house accommodations on the grounds. It too is made entirely of salvaged materials.
There is no break in the ambiance.
