They have quite a few beautiful models available, but today I want to show you the Cross Gable Cottage.
The phrase “cross gable” is an architectural term referring to the style of the roof. This aspect of the house’s design grabs attention immediately, as does the cool corner window you see on the right.
The unit can be fitted with large doors, perfect for a garden shed. Indeed, that was the original use for which the cottage was intended. Back in 2001, it was displayed at the Stratton Garden Show by its designer, Domenic Mangano. I imagine however that it would also be perfect for a home office or just a general-purpose backyard hideaway.
The cross gable structure of the roof makes for a beautiful ceiling inside the shed. It also opens up the room overhead so that the space doesn’t feel cramped.
