A few years ago, Laura and Jeremy were paging through a book about tiny houses in a shop when they realized they were looking at their dream. By building a tiny house to call their own, they would be able to pay off their debts, save money, and travel the country.
Laura and Jeremy lived their dream, constructing a gorgeous tiny house from the ground up. They traveled and they saved. Now that their adventure has led them to a new dream—raising a family in Eugene—they are putting their beloved tiny house up for sale!

A lot of love went into making this special home!
This tiny house is tiny. The ground floor measures only 142 square feet. There is a 64-square-foot loft and a 34-square-foot porch. That adds up to 240 square feet of livable space.
The house is situated on a double axle trailer featuring spring suspension and measuring 24 feet. The outside walls are covered in cedar shingle siding. The walls as well as the standing seam metal roof and the floor all use Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) in their design to reduce the heating and cooling costs for the home.
Additionally, Laura and Jeremy implemented the use of Swiss SIGA Wigluv and Russian tape sealing and included Tyvek HomeWrap and HomeSlicker drainage mats as well as Grace Ice & Rain Shield and metal flashing to weatherproof the house. The double pane windows are made of Ultrex fiberglass.
You can take this tiny house anywhere. Jeremy and Laura made sure that it was set to go for off-the-grid living with wiring in place to support the use of solar panels and batteries.
Inside, this home is as beautiful as it is on the outside. The interior features simple but cozy décor with a neutral color scheme and furnishings which would be easy to incorporate into any personal style. Under the kitchen counter are cubbies for storage, and the home even features a vintage Travelstar oven and stovetop powered by propane. There is also a Vissani 4.5 cubic foot fridge and freezer. A small ladder leads up to the loft.
A Mini Franklin Gas Stove heater makes it easy to stay warm even during the coldest months of the year. A low shelf under the window is just the right size to set up a flat-screen television at a much more comfortable height and angle than you usually see with tiny houses (a lot of people place them near the ceiling). Through the wide window, you can enjoy beautiful views and lots of light.

The folding table and chairs are just large enough for one or two people to comfortably sit and dine.
If you do feel like having a bunch of people over, it’ll be crowded, but you’ll still have plenty of room to entertain.
A closer look at the kitchen reveals that there is more than enough counter space to prepare most meals with ease. The sink is also roomy. While there is not a tremendous amount of cabinet space, I can tell you from experience that this is all you really need. In the back, you can see the entrance to the bathroom.
The bathroom includes a composting toilet, shower, and a tub you can soak in! This is a really great feature as a lot of tiny houses do not include bathtubs.
