Cardboard boxes are typically only used for housing when you’re on the down and out, however, thanks to some of the innovative designers at Fiction Factor studio, that’s no longer the case! They’ve come up with an incredible tiny house design that’s made of cardboard and will last for one hundred years! These homes are suitable for many uses including disaster relief, shelters, and even housing the homeless. But after looking the pictures, you may decide you want one for yourself!
The inside of the homes look like a modern cave and are full of possibility!
Built-in shelving gives storage space without taking up precious floor space or looking cluttered and the under-cabinet lighting gives a high-end look.
The small round windows let in light without adding too much to material costs.
These windows can be added anywhere in the house that you want to pop one in!
This cardboard home is called the Wikkelhouse and it’s made entirely out of corrugated cardboard panels just like you see in tough and sturdy boxes!

All they did was glue it together and somehow it created a gorgeous tiny house by wrapping the structure with that huge spindle 24 times!

Owners can use the modular pieces below to make their own combination and layout without having to use a permanent foundation.
Once they’ve designed their home, assembly only takes one to two days! Then all you have to do is reapply the protective coating every thirty years.
Imagine living in a cardboard box and waking up to this view! It’s very possible since each module only costs $4,500! True, a total Wikkelhouse is a little more expensive at $80,000 but we think it just may be
worth it to live in such a beautiful environmentally-friendly tiny home!
