Picture yourself driving through the forest on your way to a tranquil camping spot in the wilderness. What would be the perfect campervan?
Maybe you pictured something a bit like the D407 House Truck above, designed by artist Jay Nelson. The big appeal of this living space is its rustic simplicity. It very much has the feel of an old-fashioned wood cabin. It looks somewhat out of place actually (considering the house part doesn’t match the truck part), but that is part of its charm.
I kind of like that the truck looks so ordinary, but the house doesn’t. The house actually fits with the wilderness environment in these photos better than it fits with the truck.
But to me, that emphasizes that it was made for vacationing.
The interior looks pretty basic, and I don’t think it has all the amenities you would need for fulltime living, but I could be wrong—there are unfortunately not a lot of photos. What you can see however is that the benches to either side of the table can be used for sleeping, and that there are windows spanning all the way around the sides.
