While many tiny houses are designed with layouts of around 300 ft.², technically, anything which falls at or under 500 ft.² or so fits within the definition of a tiny house. If you are looking for something on the larger side of that range, this 480 ft.² tiny house for sale in Memphis, Tennessee, might strike your fancy.
The house was built by the seller, Dwayne A. Jones. Describing its features, he writes, “One bedroom and one bathroom. Vaulted ceiling, central heat and air. Kitchen setup for full frig and full range. Washer and dryer connection for full size. House built on concrete slab.”
The sunny yellow you saw on the front door repeats throughout the interior. Here in the living room, just one of the walls has been painted in the same vivid shade to contrast with the surrounding white walls. The effect is very striking.
Even with the couch set up in the living room, there is still lots of open floor space. Notice that there is also a lot of space open on the walls. You could set up some cabinets for storage, or you could hang photographs or artwork.
Neither a fridge nor a range are pictured in this photo because neither of these appliances are included with your purchase of the home. But in this photo, you can see where you would install your stove.
The bathroom includes a flush toilet, a vanity with a large mirror, and a roomy shower which also includes a full-size bathtub.
The house has a downstairs bedroom which features lots of open floor space around the bed. With its current decor, the touches of yellow in this room complement the living room wall and the front door.
