You’ve doubtless heard the saying, “A man’s home is his castle.” Can a tiny home be a castle? Well, there’s no reason that a castle has to be huge. In fact, one home which proves it can be tiny is the Wisconsin Chateau by Tiny Smart House.
This house has a very distinctive look! I know this is certainly the first time I’ve ever seen a tiny house with a French Mansard roof. That’s for sure!
The roof is made out of patterned copper, so over time it should develop a beautiful patina. As the builder points out, it was “surprisingly affordable.” That wouldn’t have been the case with a full-size house. This is one of the benefits of tiny living. You can afford some luxuries which you would not be able to otherwise.
The row of windows lining the roof is very stately. How many windows you end up with depends on the length you go with when you place your order. The home is available with lengths ranging from 16’ to 44’, so that gives you a lot of flexibility. You can also go with the 8’ standard trailer width, or you can choose an extra wide 10’ or 12’ for more space.
The lap siding is just beautiful. I presume you can choose your paint color, but the sunny yellow is very eye-catching.
You can get a better look at the roofing here, complete with its elegant trim.
There are no photos of the interior unfortunately, but it includes painted drywall walls, laminate flooring, and a tongue and groove ceiling made out of bright pine. There is an open living space with a ladder leading up to a loft measuring 8 x 8. In the kitchen, you get a 4.5 cubic foot fridge and a 3-burner propane range. The counter is made out of solid oak.
The Wisconsin Chateau certainly is worthy of its name! If you are as blown away by it as I am, visit Tiny Smart House to learn more or order your own! You can buy this tiny castle for as little as $53,000.
