Beaufort, South Carolina is a beautiful town on the water with tons of charm and several smaller homes that will steal your heart. One of our favorites is the Camden House which, at 963 square feet, is a little larger than some of the homes we typically share with you but we think it still has the tiny house spirit. The two bedroom, two bathroom home was designed by
Allison Ramsey Architects and they’re now selling the plans so you can build this beautiful house on your own land!
The home sits on a narrow lot and is surrounded by other small homes and lush landscaping.
Inside, the walls are all painted white with cherry hardwood floors and accents. The home has an open floorplan with a clear line of sight from one end of the house out the back window.
The home’s living room is spacious with a wood burning fireplace and plenty of windows for natural light. A daybed was set up as a couch and can double as a guest bed if needed.
The kitchen is a long alleyway with a built-in table on one end of the dark countertops. It’s fully equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, oven, and dishwasher. There’s also a double-wide closet in the room which holds the washer and dryer machines.
The guest bedroom is downstairs off of the kitchen with a nearby full bathroom. We love the windows that line the room letting natural light flood in and causing the room to feel large and airy.
The second floor of the Camden House is one large master suite with walk-in closets along the hall that separates the master bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom gives you a resort experience with a massive soaking tub and oversized walk-in shower.
The bedroom is on the other side of the hall and it’s large enough to include a small seating area for a private and quiet getaway.
We love the way the talented architect made use of the space available and managed to create a master suite that’s fit for a king!
