Tiny Idahomes is no stranger to designing and building custom tiny houses, but this one was special even to them! The owners wanted something that was completely unique and a pure reflection of their personalities and so this adorable home was brought to life!
The exterior is charred cedar with a rusted corrugated steel roof and siding.
They wanted to add charming details starting on the outside and so they designed these sweet green shutters that actually open and close.
These sidelights were added and they have their own shutters to keep the glass protected while moving or in harsh weather conditions.
The custom green awning can be folded for travel and when open it resembles a tree canopy!
One of the most unique features of this tiny home is the custom Dutch door! This work of art has iron accents and can be opened halfway to let air in while keeping animals and children in or out!
You also have extra storage over the hitch!
Now, let’s look inside! The charm simply continues throughout this tiny home!
The ceiling and walls are kept natural with the beautiful tones of the cedar on full display.
A skylight lets natural light flood into the home.
As soon as you walk through the door, you’re in the kitchen. You’ll see tons of cabinet storage and an eating area.
This table was custom built to look like your grandmother’s table and can be folded down when not in use.
The countertops were finished in dark black to let the gorgeous copper sink stand out.
Look at this beauty! It’s like having a piece of art in your kitchen! The bottom is protected by the custom grate and we can just imagine how this sink is going to age and develop its own patina!
Over the sink, you have closed storage with a custom screened opening to add charm and character.
You have a built-in fridge that blends with the cabinets and there’s a pull-out pantry! We think that is an awesome addition to tiny homes because it takes up minimal space and be pulled in and out easily when needed.
On the other side of the kitchen is a bathroom with a toilet and shower.
You have built-in storage next to the shower for your toiletries.
And this is also where your washer/dryer combo can be found.
The bathroom sink is another piece of art. It’s finished in hammered copper and we absolutely love it!
Wondering where you sleep in this tiny home? Well, that’s another unique and completely custom feature that they designed! The loft of this home is on a pulley system above the kitchen!
With just a pull on the system, the bed is lowered down and you can get to it on the ladder.
We think that’s a pretty awesome idea and a great use of space!
This is one unique and fully customized tiny house that we don’t think we’ll forget anytime soon!
