When Wind River Tiny Homes set out to design and build their first tiny home, they hit it out of the park with this sweet little bungalow! It’s absolutely charming in every detail so it’s not hard to see why they’re still building it to this day!
This sweet tiny home just oozes charm from the rockers on the front porch to the tin roof!
Since it’s a stationary home, the owners even planted a huge vegetable garden.
The bungalow has a storage shed built onto the back of the home that houses garden tools and other necessities.
On the side of the home, the owners built covered storage for their bikes and it could even double as an outside room if needed.
When you step inside, you can see that this young couple have thought through every detail and made sure that each item has its own place in the tiny home.
Open shelves house canisters, dishes, and pantry items while the light counters and walls keep the space airy feeling and let the wood ceilings and cabinets stand out.
Even the vertical space under the cabinets was used with attached mason jars and racks for pans.
The counter top and sink are all one piece and even have a built-in drying rack for dishes.
The living area is just big enough for a small couch and chair but it’s all the couple needs since they spend a lot of time outdoors.
The built-in bench has a comfy cushion and storage underneath.
There’s also a little table for eating or working as well as storage in between the ladder rungs leading up to the loft.
The storage cabinet outside of the kitchen gives plenty of space to store their clothes out of sight.
The bathroom has a composting toilet and a shower stall.
Over the toilet, there’s open storage with baskets to hold toiletries.
Over the kitchen, the bedroom loft is big enough for a comfy mattress. The pitched ceiling also gives more head room and the big window lets in natural light and fresh air when wanted.
The couple say that living in their tiny home has given them freedom that they could never have expected. They’ve paid off all of their debt and are free to come and go as they please. We think that’s more than enough reason to build a bungalow of our own!
