If you are in the market for a newly-built tiny house in a low price, you will want to take a look at this one which is currently listed for sale in Vancouver, Washington. Constructed last year, it measures 221 square feet and is currently priced to sell at just $28,000.
The outside of the house is painted an appealing, summery shade of aqua with wood paneling around the top.
The roof is slanted at an angle, which helps to prevent the accumulation of precipitation, reducing the load on the roof during wintertime.
In this photo, you can get a pretty good look at the kitchen layout as well as the interior of the fridge and freezer. For reference, it looks to be about the same size as mine, and I can tell you that it is perfect for a tiny house, not too large or too small.
With the butcher block counter extending well to both sides of the sink, you have lots of room to prepare your recipes. Your purchase of this house comes with the appliances you see in the kitchen, including the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and convection hotplate with pans.
At the moment there is a chair across from the cabinets. I’d probably situate that elsewhere, but that is just me.
On the other hand, there isn’t much room for a chair on the other side of the kitchen. It turns out there is more of a narrow hallway extending toward the back. You will see that this hallway leads to the bedroom.
This arrangement has left room for a larger downstairs bedroom. You can see that the house has been decorated with a beach theme which is fitting with the aqua color of the siding. A flatscreen TV has been mounted above the head of the bed. This is probably exactly where I would put it as well. Instead of sitting on a couch to watch TV, you can just sit at the foot of the bed.
In this photo, it is easier to see how the hallway connects the kitchen to the back bedroom. A sliding barn door slides aside to reveal the entrance to the bathroom.
A vessel farmhouse sink sits atop the counter, with lots of storage integrated underneath.
The bathroom includes a corrugated tin shower and a toilet with a holding tank.
