Built-in 2014 and affectionately known as ‘Ruby’, this 270 sf tiny home is perfect if you’re looking for a well-designed and maintained space on a budget. Crafted in Douglas Fir wood and assembled in the exact same way as a stick-built home, this home was built with sustainability in mind.
The decor pieces and details on the exterior of the tiny house work well with the interiors- it has just the right cozy and comfy vibe that will make you feel right at home.
As you step inside, you’ll find yourself in a little living area which has a nice couch on one side and a little storage unit and a table on the other side. The long table has been set up as a work desk, but it can easily be used as an additional countertop to prep your meals, or even as a dining space.
The kitchen is right up ahead and is complete with ash plywood built-in cabinets for storage, a 4.5 cu ft refrigerator and freezer, a 3 burner LP propane stovetop and oven, and a Moen one handle pullout kitchen faucet, and a microwave oven.
The bathroom packs in a copper vessel sink, a full-sized soaking bathtub, a smooth-sided Toto dual flush toilet, a vanity, and a mirror with storage. There is an additional overhead cabinet above the toilet to maximize storage in this space.
The 9*10 ft sleeping loft is incredibly comfortable and fits a queen bed and leaves a little room for a bedside table on one side. The loft is accessible through the stairs which come with a large, full-length storage unit on the side, and is fitted with an in-window AC unit with a remote. What’s best is the fact that the space has a tilted ‘shed roof’ that offers you a little extra headroom and brings in some more natural light.
The 4 large fully operable windows with screens, an on-demand LP hot water heater, and a custom French door are all packed into the deal, surely making it an irresistible one.
