Alaska is one of those places we always dream about visiting and if we’re every lucky enough to make it happen, we’ve found an adorable tiny house to stay in during our stay! This 300 square foot home in Homer, Alaska is rented out through Airbnb and gives you everything you need for a comfortable stay close to glaciers, mountains, and Kachemak Bay. Rates start at $150 per night with room for two guests.
The tiny house has two porches, a small one off of the front door and a large deck off the back for dining and entertaining. The exterior of the home is wrapped in beautiful wood siding with metal accents.
Inside, the home is painted white with wood accents and a bright red door. With an open floor plan, you have easy access to all that the home has to offer including a cozy living area, kitchenette, and sleeping loft.
The living area is in the back of the house with views of the mountains out the glass French doors. Those doors can be opened up to blend the line between the indoor and outdoor living spaces and to let fresh air breeze through the home.
A small kitchenette is off of the living room with a mini-fridge, sink, and kitchen essentials. Two bar stools are tucked under the bar giving you a place to eat while looking out the window towards the mountains and glaciers.
The bathroom is just past the kitchen with a glass shower stall, pedestal sink, and toilet.
Above the kitchen and bathroom is a cozy sleeping loft accessed by a ladder. There’s room for a queen-sized mattress giving you sleeping room for two guests.
