The Covo Tiny House company is based out of Oregon and specialized in hand-crafted tiny homes that maximize comfort without sacrificing livability. Their Mio model is designed specifically for tiny house owners who use technology on a regular basis for either recreational purposes or for work. The home is decked out with plenty of “smart” features including USB charging ports, smart lighting, built-in monitor, and a standing or sitting work desk – just to name a few! Their average home sells for $85,000 and they love to specialize their models to meet their clients’ needs.
The exterior of the house is equally impressive with stained wood siding and dark panel inserts for a modern and clean look.
Inside, the walls are covered in white shiplap with dark hardwood floors and accents throughout the home. The living area takes up most of the main floor with a long couch in the middle of the home and an entertainment area built into the end. This area includes the 55” built-in monitor, stereo system, standing/sitting desk, and built-in cubbies.
There’s also a small storage loft above the monitor for bulky items to be stored out of the way.
A long bar is across from the couch giving you a place to eat or work while looking out the massive window that runs the length of the table. Stools can be tucked underneath the bar when not in use to free up floor space.
The home’s kitchen is in the back corner of the house and features white cabinets with a gorgeous wood countertop and compact appliances. It’s amazing that they were able to fit in a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher as well as a double-basin sink! And we especially love the full wall of windows that make the room bright and help it to feel more spacious.
In the loft, you have a spacious sleeping area with room for a queen-sized bed and a dresser. Long windows let natural light and fresh air breeze through the loft and keep it fresh and bright.
The bathroom isn’t pictured, but you can see from the floorplan that it’s off of the kitchen and has a shower stall and toilet. We love how much living space this layout gives you!
