Canadian Tiny House company, Lumbec, has been working on a new design for a tiny house that maximizes efficiency without requiring a loft and that’s simple enough to be shipped to owners in a kit for them to build themselves. Their hard work paid with the release of the Azure house kit. The 640 square foot house is beautiful and definitely, delivers in all aspects that the company wished for.
The floorplan for the Azure is nothing short of genius with every corner and wall used to its maximum potential. The house has an open concept layout with a separate bedroom and bathroom plus a large outside pergola.
Inside, a pitched roof and exposed beams give the home strong architectural appeal. A loft area is over the bedroom and bathroom for storage or it is large enough to be used as a guest bedroom or sitting area.
The room is closed off by sliding doors which give privacy without taking up valuable floor space.
Built-in bookcases and floating shelves hold items and clothing while keeping space a priority. Large glass doors lead outside to the pergola and let in bright sunlight to give the room an airy feel.
In the living area, floating shelves are installed around a large TV screen so the floor is uncluttered leaving room for a small desk along the wall.
Just think, this house can be shipped to you on a pallet and with a little bit of DIY, you can be living in a modern tiny house in no time! To see more of the Azure and to learn more about the Lumbec company, go to http://www.tinyhouselumbec.com/?lang=en.
