We’ve found another impressive tiny house designed and built by Colorado builders MitchCraft Tiny Homes. The Blue Moon is a 22-foot-long tiny house with beautiful wood siding and blue and metal accents that set this home apart from others.
The house has a large exterior storage shed attached to the back of the home which is perfect for storing bulky items or propane tanks.
Inside, various wood shades add interest to the whole house from the floors to the ceiling and pops of green add to the fun factor. Most of the walls were kept white too with light wood accents to not overwhelm the small space.
The home has an open floorplan with a sleeping loft and separate storage loft. A small storage closet is just inside the entry for coats and clothes.
The kitchen of the Blue Moon is far from ordinary with its stainless steel wall and green cabinets! Open shelving provides a place for cups and pots and pans while closet storage lets you store items that aren’t as attractive.
A small stainless steel sink is placed in front of a window and has a sleek faucet with a sprayer nozzle to tackle dishes.
Next to the sink is a gas cooktop and oven with a hood overhead for ventilation. You also have plenty of countertop space for prepping meals.
A mini fridge is built into the wall of the kitchen with storage above. The owners decided to give the refrigerator a chalkboard door so messages and reminders can be written and erased easily.
On the other side of the kitchen, you have a large living area with custom bench seating and storage below. The bench can be folded out into a bed for guests and can also
double as a dining table.
Small pop-up tables can be quickly set up for work or dining and then tucked away when not needed.
By folding the table out more, you can have seating for up to four guests comfortably!
Below the bench and stairs you have tons of storage space with large deep drawers and cabinets giving you plenty of room to store items.
The bathroom is also well organized and has a composting toilet, stainless steel shower stall and built-in storage next to the toilet.
A slim sink is on the far wall with a large mirror on the back of the door. We love the natural wood in here and how it makes the white ceiling stand out!
Upstairs in the loft, you have plenty of room for a large bed and while the ceiling is low, large windows let in fresh air and natural light so you won’t feel closed in while resting.
The Blue Moon packs a lot of living in a tiny space and definitely shows off the innovation of the builders! To learn more about MitchCraft homes, visit their website at http://mitchcrafttinyhomes.com/about/ and you can also follow them on social media:
