Blue Moon Rising Village is a community of tiny house rentals designed and built by Hobbitat builders. Each cabin is unique and charming in its own way with eleven cabins to choose from. They’re all 250-300 square feet but they have unique floorplans and design features which set them apart from one another. We’ve chosen four of our favorites to share with you but all eleven are adorable and we’d be thrilled to stay in them!
The Bella Donna is a pretty tiny house with antique features like the half-oval window that you notice as soon as you see the tiny house. With cedar shake and green stained siding, this home is charming and understated all at once.
Inside the home has an open floor plan with a center island and small kitchen. Exposed beams add architectural appeal while the white walls keep the home bright and airy.
The home has a loft which has a queen bed and another queen bed is located on the main floor in a separate room.
The Kaya is another beautiful cabin with a vintage feel. A large front porch is off of the front of the home with a table to enjoy coffee at while looking out at the community.
Inside, the cabin has an open floor plan with a small kitchenette on one side of the tiny house and sitting area and table on the other.
A room with a queen-sized bed is on one side of the house and a full-sized bathroom is on the other side with a shower stall to unwind after a day of hiking just out the back door.
This next cabin sleeps up to four people and has a charming gothic theme with a steep pitched roof and cedar shake siding.
Inside a set of bunk beds on the main floor double as a place to sit during the day while the loft holds a queen-sized bed for two more guests.
The small kitchenette is L-shaped with heart pine cabinetry and has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay in the cabin.
The last cabin that we’ll share with you is the Moon Shadow. This tiny house is lined with cedar shake siding that pop against the dark black board and batten siding around the large windows. The front door is an antique Dutch door which just adds to the vintage appeal of this cabin.
Inside, the barn-shaped ceiling makes the home feel open and spacious and a large bay window doubles as seating for the small table in front of it.
On the other side of the tiny house is a small kitchenette that looks out through the even larger picture window onto the front porch.
A comfortable chair and bookcase take up one corner of the living area where you can read a book.
A small bedroom off the living area is just big enough for a queen-sized bed making it a cozy nook to get a good night’s sleep.
The bathroom has a pleasant surprise with an inviting antique clawfoot tub which is the perfect way to end the day after exploring the grounds!
Blue Moon Rising is the perfect destination for tiny house lovers to get away and escape to nature while staying in an adorable cabin. Rates vary by season but they range from $175 to $275 per night.
