In a recent post, I featured a cool minimalist tiny house called aVOID. The aVOID tiny house spent some time at the Bauhaus Campus, which is an experimental community for tiny houses at the Bauhaus-Archive/Museum of Design in Berlin, which got me interested in what else is parked at the campus. Let’s take a look!
The tiny houses parked at the community have names like Cabin Spacey, Holy Foods House, the House of Tiny Systems, ConstructLab, and Project Café Basic Income.
While there are traditional design elements used in some of the homes, most of them have a fairly contemporary style, which is fitting with their cutting-edge, experimental nature. All of these tiny houses are built to push the envelope of what is possible living in a tiny space.
Some of the houses actually look very traditional.
Some, on the other hand, do not. By coincidence, this unusual tiny house actually seems to complement the architecture of the grounds around it.
Each of these tiny spaces looks like so much fun to explore.
Even though the houses were not designed in conjunction with each other—each was an individual project undertaken by an individual architect—many of them really do look like they belong together.
Each of these pictures makes me so curious about all of the houses and the goals for each specific project!
It would be really cool to have a chance to visit the exhibit and check it out in person.
