When the City of Caldwell decided to build a new library, they chose to go tiny! They commissioned Tiny Idahomes, LLC to craft a 26’ mobile library that can bring books to readers all over the city. How cool is that!
With its bright red roof, deep blue siding, and lime green door, the library stands out wherever it goes! It has a cool little shelf that extends in front under the windows under a narrow awning where the librarians can set out books for people to look at. That’s a great way to attract interest from passers-by!
In this photo, you can see the pull-out wheelchair ramp which keeps the library accessible to all.
Tiny Idahomes went all-out with the features. They write, “This fun, rolling library boasts many custom cabinets and shelving on the inside for all those books and 4 individual workstations.”
I think it has a cool “classroom” vibe. What about you? Of course, it is way nicer than any manufactured building classroom I ever studied in!
Here the library is all decked out for the holidays. It exudes such a warm, inviting glow! Did I mention that Tiny Idahomes put solar panels on the library so that it is eco-friendly?
What a cool project, and what a beautifully executed result! If you want to learn more about the City of Caldwell mobile library, check out the Tiny Idahomes post.
