If you happen to be planning a visit to San Jacinto in Southern California and want to stay in cool lodgings in the mountains, it is pretty hard to beat this amazing A-frame cabin. I’m not sure it’s a “tiny” house—it has room to sleep six—but it is on the small side, and it’s just unbelievably beautiful. Take a look.
A wide set of steps lead up to a large patio where you can enjoy the beauty of the woodlands. As you can see, the front of the A-frame cabin is all windows, offering gorgeous views from inside as well.
I’d probably spend a lot of time out on the patio sitting at this table. Then again, the interior of the cabin is amazing too …
The lower floor of the A-frame cabin is surprisingly spacious. It certainly appears larger on the inside than it does on the outside. The natural wood tones maintain a rustic look, but there is no denying that there is an atmosphere of luxury here. Beautiful furnishings, a unique spiral staircase, and hardwood floors combine to create that stunning ambiance. The way the walls push outward makes for an open feeling.
Sumptuous couches surround a long table in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room.
It would be so awesome to be able to relax on one of these couches with a group of friends, just enjoying each others’ company and taking in the view of the forest through the windows.
Here’s another look at some of the lovely furnishings.
The upstairs loft is tiny. The bed just barely fits in here, but there is some extra floor space.
Despite the tight fit of the bed in the loft, there is a lot of light thanks to the wall of windows. In all, the cabin includes 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, and 2 AeroBeds which can be inflated if needed to accommodate more guests.
Here is the other bed (the queen size one, presumably):
Even the bathroom is the essence of lavishness! I am really loving those polished stones used to create the textures in the walls. It’s a simple touch, but it creates a luxurious look and feel.
The kitchen has everything you could ask for. There is an oven, a stove, a microwave, and a refrigerator. You also have a waffle iron, a hand juicer, and a food processor at your disposal.
Staying connected to ordinary life is about the last thing I’d want if I were staying here, but if you feel so compelled, you can avail yourself of the included wi-fi. There is also a stereo system featuring iTunes AirPlay as well as a satellite television to keep you entertained.
Want to stay in this unique A-frame cabin? You can book a reservation over at Glamping Hub. As of the time of this writing, the cost is just $210.68 per night. That’s a pretty sweet deal considering you’ve got this whole luxurious place to yourself. I’d hesitate to call it “glamping”—it’s more just glam, but it sure is awesome either way!
