Upper Valley Tiny Homes is a company out of Utah that we’re beginning to think can perform miracles! They designed a tiny house that looks like a trendy barn, has a rooftop deck, four bedrooms, a jet tub AND is off-grid! We wouldn’t believe it was possible if we hadn’t seen it with our own eyes so we have to share it with you!
The exterior of the house is where it all starts: rustic wood wraps the home and a metal barn-style roofline tops it off with solar panels and a rooftop deck in the middle of it all!
The deck is reached from inside the home making it a great private area to enjoy the outdoors.
The home was designed to be off-grid and so it was given 1,000-watt solar panels on the roof. However, you still have the option to “plug in” when needed or wanted.
Inside, the home has white walls with dark wood trim and hardwood floors. High-end finishes and top-of-the-line appliances were chosen to create a truly luxurious tiny house.
The home’s living room is raised on a platform on the front of the home and is surrounded by windows. A trap door in the floor lifts to reveal storage and gives you access to some of the home’s functionalities.
The kitchen is well-equipped with a full-sized refrigerator and oven and an oversized farmhouse sink in the middle of the two. A custom ladder is on the wall next to the refrigerator and gives you access to one of the sleeping lofts.
Across from the kitchen is a closet with a sliding door that hides the combo washer and dryer.
A storage staircase gives you access to the front loft as well as providing places to store items out of the way.
The home has two large lofts for sleeping. One of the lofts was given a ramp that gives you access to the rooftop deck through a window.
The bathroom is one of the most impressive features of this home with a full-sized jet tub, custom vanity, and an incinerating toilet! Meaning, waste gets turned into ash!
This home is truly impressive and these pictures don’t even show the whole house! Be sure to check out this video to see it from end-to-end: https://youtu.be/EqS_8vNGbIY
