If you are looking for a tiny house that has a distinctive character all its own, the Venom tiny house by Incredible Tiny Homes is one worth checking out. Combining four rooflines and some unusual angles, it stands out easily from the crowd while offering the features you need for comfortable living.
A contemporary exterior features high windows, a combination of wood and metal, and the aforementioned unusual roof lines.
The unit measures 8′ x 24′, which makes it just 192 square feet.
Included among the home’s utilities is this Pioneer Inverter Ultra High-Efficiency Heat Pump.
Are you ready to see what the inside of this cool house is like?
The kitchen with its farmhouse sink exhibits some unexpected angles. Even though the sink is not actually wedged in a corner, the counter is shaped in such a fashion that it feels like it could be. Actually, it makes a fairly normal right angle against the wall, but the sink itself has been placed at an odd angle with respect to the countertops, which have been shaped to fit around it.
This is what we see looking down at the sink. The unusual angle reduces the extra bit of counter space to the right of the sink, but it provides for a larger main workspace to the left.
In this photo, we see more unusual angles. In the loft section, the back wall is flat, but below it, it protrudes outward in three panels.
This unique outward angling of the walls provides the living space with a different look and shape compared to most. It certainly feels roomier than it would if the back wall was simply flat and straight across.
The home features vinyl hopper windows.
The mixture of vertically- and horizontally-oriented windows makes for a modern vibe.
The next stop on our tour is the loft space with its big window in the back.
With this fan moving air around the home, you won’t have to worry about getting too warm.
Looking into the kitchen, you can see a fridge and freezer along the left-hand wall.
Beside the sink, there is vast counter space before you arrive at the cooktop above the oven. Beyond, through the door, you can see something exciting: a bathtub.
A full-size bathtub like this is a real treat in a tiny house. If a good soak is a regular indulgence for you, you’ll be able to luxuriate here while hopefully (depending on where you parked the house) enjoying the view through the window.
Beside the tub, you can see where the vanity can go. There are already overhead lights installed. Below that can go a mirror, and under the mirror, the sink and cabinets.
There is some storage space located beneath the steps.
The steps lead up to loft space.
Here is where the steps come out on the loft.
You have room to do your laundry in this tiny house. That is quite remarkable considering how small a house it is.
This ladder is a curious thing.
Here is another look at it.
… And another.
It seems to lead up to this hatch on the ceiling.
A close-up view shows the latch.
You can get more context on where the ladder is located from this image, which also has us able to see the first loft we explored across the way.
I wish there were a layout diagram for this house, as it would make it much easier to see how it all fits together.
One thing is sure, and that is that these lofts feel remarkably spacious!
The windows alone bring in lots of light, but it’s extra bright in here because of the light coming down from overhead.
I just love the sink, even though I can’t explain what it is about it that I fancy so much.
From what I can tell, there are basically multiple levels to this single loft.
I presume that the purpose of this is so that the laundry “room” feels like a separate space from the rest of the loft, which can have another purpose.
Looking back down the stairs, you also can see more clearly the level change between both sections of the loft.
Since there is a wall in front of the steps and not just beside them, it feels partially enclosed, like a proper stairwell.
Fascinating. The stairs actually deposit you in the bathroom. Now I am confused though. Where does the toilet go? Maybe I was wrong about where I thought the vanity was meant to be?
The angle of the sink is very pleasing seen from here.
