Tiny Houses are known for being creative but they’re not always known for being whimsical and colorful, at least not as much as this next tiny house! The Toybox is a tiny house built by designers Paul Schultz and Frank Henderson and made out of corrugated fiberglass panels. The home has 140 square feet inside and is 21 feet long. This model ranges from $48,000-$60,000
depending on which options you choose.
The exterior has three corrugated cubes that make up the main components of the house and is framed by painted cedar with several awning windows and a sliding porch door.
Inside, the house is divided by the joints of the three cubes that you see on the outside. The living area has a modular couch can be transformed to serve many functions. The kitchen and dining area is open to the living room and has everything you need.
Full-size appliances are tucked below the stainless steel counters and a clever spice and ingredient compartment lines the wall above the counters.
The back wall of the kitchen is actually a hidden pantry!
The dining table folds out once for a small work area or twice for a full dining table. When it’s not needed it lays flat against the wall out of the way.
That same table top can be used in the living area for more guests by transforming the couch into table seating.
Or you can arrange the couch into a bed when you have guests over for the night.
Upstairs, the loft can be reached by a moveable ladder and has enough room for a king-sized mattress. Windows let in fresh air and light and the slanted roofline gives you plenty of headroom.
Back downstairs, the bathroom has a large shower stall which actually doubles as the sink area too! The sink faucet extends up the wall to serve as a shower head as well. That’s definitely not something we’ve seen before!
