When Tiny House Nation first debuted on HGTV, they covered the build of a home aptly named the “Dream Castle”. This adorable 172 square foot home was built with the help of Perfect Ideas LLC for a military family looking to save money and be mortgage-free to allow mom, Chelsea, to spend more time at home with their daughter while Jeff went back to school. The home turned out incredible and was the perfect way to kick off the show that we all love!
The home featured large windows on the front of the home with hanging baskets for herbs or flowers and maintenance-free siding with a metal roof.
Inside, the home has a separate master bedroom with a huge TV mounted on the ceiling to enjoy while lounging in bed. The kitchen has wooden countertops and shelving with a tile backsplash and compace appliances.
We love how the wooden ceiling gives warmth to the otherwise white and light home and the large windows keep the home from feeling too dingy.
A full-sized bathroom was also built in with a shower stall. Next to the bathroom is the perfect place for a princess with a pink bed and a playroom on top. The walls were covered in trees to let her imagination roam wild while at play.
This tiny home has given the family a newfound freedom without sacrificing style or comfort. If you’d like to learn more about Perfect Ideas, LLC and their other custom builds, visit their website at http://www.perfectideasllc.com/tiny-homes/ or follow
