If you are looking for inspiration for a gorgeous contemporary-style tiny house, AL Tiny Homes based in Mount Olive has some designs which are simply stunning. Here is one tiny house which is just amazing to look at inside and out with some gorgeous textures and colors incorporated into the design.
Here you see the exterior of the home. I am really enamored with the strong horizontal lines in the woodwork. They contrast beautifully with the vertical lines around the door.
Here you can see another angle. In some ways, those horizontal wood planks really capture the idea of a traditional suburban home—but there is also something evocative of a log cabin here, all with a contemporary twist.
Stepping inside, here is a lovely view of the interior living space. Notice the sharp contrast between the dark wood paneling on the floor, ceiling, and steps, and the white panels of the walls. This is beautiful design. The minimalist colors help to keep a sense of clutter-free space, but the contrast helps to define the features and prevents them from blending all together.
In the shot below, you can see the ceiling fan and also some of the furniture in the living area:
Here is a shot looking back toward the living room seating from the kitchen. You can glimpse the shower in the background.
Here is a closer look at the kitchen and the steps. As you can see, the steps provide storage underneath.
As you can see, the kitchen is just beautiful. The countertops are lovely, and the wood beams overhead help to break up the space and give it a cozier look and feel. And those tiles on the walls are just amazing! They capture that same sense of the horizontal as the wood planks comprising the walls.
The same mesmerizing tiles are present in the shower. The bathroom as you can see is quite spacious:
I am pretty sure what you see below is a shot of the same living area where the chairs are usually situated. On the right is the staircase and in back is the shower. The front door is on the left. But here we see the area converted into a bedroom.
There is a permanent bedroom upstairs in the loft. While the loft is not as spacious as the downstairs area, it is still fairly roomy, and it feels spacious thanks to all those horizontal lines. You will notice they are incorporated into the design of the windows as well.
As you can see, this is a remarkable contemporary design for a tiny house! It unites simplicity with a number of lovely architectural flourishes for a look which is at once elegant and unique. Be sure to visit AL Tiny Homes at the link below to check out all of their amazing work!
