If you are in search of a tiny house with a distinctive, unforgettable color scheme, you will love this bright, cheery yellow house from Park Model Homes.
The yellow siding is eye-catching without being gaudy. The pale yellow calls to mind sunshine and sunflowers—but in a muted, desaturated way.
There is a large, covered porch with a vaulted roof and elegant pillars. For those who enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, a feature like this is a huge draw.
On the back of the home is a small bay window.
The hardwood floor and polished countertop make the bathroom a pleasing environment. The bright yellow flowers and flowerpot emphasize the yellow color scheme of the whole house. Three lights above the vanity provide soft illumination.
The kitchen features counters on both sides which match the one in the bathroom. The home already includes kitchen appliances such as a cooktop, oven and microwave. The colors in the kitchen are neutral aside from the bright decorative items on the countertops.
From this angle, you can see how the kitchen connects to the back bedroom.
This photo shows off the double sink as well as the full-size refrigerator and freezer with beautiful stainless steel doors.
The tiny house is spacious enough to accommodate a washer and dryer unit. No more trips to the laundromat!
I just love this photo from the kitchen facing the living room. Look at how the space opens up, and how the high, vaulted ceiling makes this tiny space feel anything but. You also can appreciate the beautiful wood grain of the cabinets from here.
Once again, the color scheme really stands out. You can see that the walls are yellowish color like the exterior, but even more muted and somewhat more neutral—closer to tan. The dark colors of the sofa and curtains above the windows as well as the frame around the door are nice match for the kitchen cabinets. Meanwhile, the bright oranges and greens accenting the kitchen also are in the living room. This creates a feeling of unity throughout the tiny house.
Standing inside the living room, the dark trim around the door and windows stands out even more. The little table that you see on the right would be nice for displaying decor, but could also be useful for enjoying a snack by yourself or working on something small.
Turning back to look toward the kitchen, you can see a flight of stairs leading up to the loft. With the high ceiling, it makes sense to incorporate one into the layout. Notice how the angle of the wall on the right side of the stairs helps to keep the living room as spacious as possible.
In terms of colors, the bedroom is the warmest room of the house. The dark brown is again present in the cabinets, the trim around the windows, the curtains, and the frame around the artwork above the bed. But you can really see how the walls are a warm, welcoming shade of yellow. The artwork as well as the bedspread feature bright autumnal colors.
This accessible bathtub is amazing! While this specific tub is no longer offered, a combination shower-tub can still be included.
