Pratt Homes is a company that manufactures tiny houses as well as larger modular homes. Among their tiny houses is an 18’ abode that they have dubbed the “Mini Mansion.”
Several steps lead up to a large sheltered porch. The appearance of the house from the front is very traditional.
Stepping inside, it is easy to see how the house got its name. This living room appears to be quite expansive. With its sumptuous furnishings and elegant color scheme, it has an air of simple luxury.
Standing across from the couch, we can turn and look back towards the kitchen, which also appears to be incredibly roomy with all the fridge, freezer, cabinet and counter space you could ask for. To the left, it looks like you can walk toward the back of the tiny house behind the kitchen, presumably to reach the bedroom and bathroom.
Let’s get a closer look at that kitchen. What really grabs the eye here are the countertops, which look to be beautifully polished stone. They almost seem to “flow” around the kitchen. Paired with the white cabinets and black appliances—and the monochromatic artwork on the wall—they do a lovely job balancing out the whole. Meanwhile, the mint green color of the walls keeps the space from feeling too harsh with its contrasts.
The kitchen island is awesome! The sunken workspace is kept separate from the higher bar around the outside. That way someone can cook while others eat, and nobody will get in each others’ way with their dishes.
Here is the bedroom, which is currently unfurnished. It is located on the ground floor and offers all the space you could ask for. A ceiling fan helps to keep the airflow moving and the temperature comfortable.
Like the living room, the bathroom has a look of luxury about it. There’s an extra-large mirror above the sink. The shower also looks to be almost twice as wide as those which are commonly found in tiny houses and features stunning tile and glass doors.
