Are you familiar with Incredible Tiny Homes? This builder based in Tennessee got started in 2014, with the “dream to provide affordable and comfortable housing for everyone.” Making good on that promise, the company makes some of the most reasonably-priced tiny houses you’re going to find, but spares no efforts in the creative department.
Each tiny house in the company’s catalog has a unique artistic vision. Among them is the 8’ x 16’ “Lemon Drop.”
This little house is part of a collection called the Randy Jones Originals (RJO), each of which carries a base price of a mere $15,000.
It is possible to order a larger version of a Randy Jones Original for an additional price.
Many features are included in the base price for the home. There are others which you need to tack on at an additional expense or take care of yourself. The builder’s website includes detailed information on pricing and what it includes and excludes.
The yellow wreath beside the door is a drop of lemon color! Let’s go inside and see what this rustic home’s interior is like.
Incredible Tiny Homes always does a magical job bringing a theme to life. Even with something as simple as “Lemon Drop” to work with as a concept, look what they’ve done with the home’s décor.
The tiny houses available in this series have very basic kitchens owing to the overall small dimensions of the homes. But you have cabinets, counter space, and a sink, as well as shelves which you can use for plates, cups, décor, and more. With a portable cooktop, you could prepare quite a few meals with ease even with such a minimal setup.
While you could decorate this layout any way you wanted, it would be hard to outdo the builder when it comes to creating a homey and unique vibe.
I feel so envious of the cook who gets to work at this countertop and do dishes in this sink!
The round shape of the sink looks like it would probably be helpful with washing pots and pans in such an enclosed space.
Every decoration in this tiny house is like a little ray of sunshine. Of course, you have plenty of that coming in through the windows.
A tiny house this small does not really have room for a full-size loft, and obviously cannot squeeze in a downstairs bedroom. Instead, you can sleep on a sofa bed which pulls out into the living space. When the bed is retracted back into a couch, there is a surprising amount of open floor space.
Even without a full-size loft, there is still enough room to squeeze in a smaller loft above the kitchen for storage.
Even when the bed is fully extended, there is still space for some extra decoration in the seating and sleeping area.
Every inch of this tiny space exudes rustic charm.
The little bathroom beside the kitchen has a flushing toilet.
Wow! Who would have thought you could fit a shower in here?
