Why choose tiny living? There are a lot of benefits, but one of them is that a tiny house can be constructed really fast. How fast? Well, that all depends on the resources you have available, but this impressive tiny home by Zenith Design + Build named the “Classy Amelia” was built in a mere 72 hours.
This house is a real beauty clad with soft white stucco offset by dark cedar wood. Large glass doors and windows bring in light from all sides. Combined, these elements create a simple geometric beauty which is as entrancing as it is elegant. “Classy” is the word, all right.
That soft white stucco-flex material is quite something. “Flex” in the name is a reference to the ability the material has to expand and contract without cracking. This gives it a classic look with added durability.
The windows are made of strong fiberglass. The attached deck measures 8’ x 7’. For superior insulation, SIP panels were incorporated into the structure. This gives the tiny house 15 times the energy efficiency you would get with stud framing.
The interior of the tiny house is fully furnished. The furnishings themselves are coordinated to fit with the colors and style of the interior and exterior. This gives the 230-square-foot Classy Amelia a consistent beauty inside and out.
Here is the loft. I love how the dark and light contrasts of the bedding match the dark and light contrasts of the stucco, dark cedar and black trim.
The décor throughout the home reflects those same colors and contrasts.
The set of stairs leading up to the loft includes cabinets underneath. I love that some of them are larger cabinets so that you can store bulkier or taller items.
In light of how quickly this house was assembled, I am really impressed by all the little details. Some serious planning must’ve gone into it. Check out how the dark metal selected for the sink faucet matches the dark trim around the windows.
In the kitchen, you will find quart countertops, cabinets and other storage areas for cutlery and cookware, floating shelves which are fully customized to fit the layout of the space, a 24” stove top, and a 10-cubic-foot refrigerator and freezer unit.
The light and fresh air streaming through the windows in the living area would make it a pleasant place to relax on the couch and read a book.
The home is full of unique custom storage solutions.
The same design aesthetic continues in the bathroom, again with the emphasis on monochromatic contrasts. Included is a Separett composting toilet and a stock tank tub.
If desired, the home can be outfitted with solar panels or a generator for living off the grid.
Nicholas Donlin, creator of this impressive tiny house says, “It was a speed build to test what we can do, we built it in 72 hours!! However, this isn’t just a cheap tiny house that was built fast, we still spared no expense with design and materials that we used.”
That is fully evident just from checking out the photos and the specs! The house is up for sale for $45,000, which if you ask me is a steal considering what you are getting. Again, appliances and furnishings are included in the price.
