Ascension is a pretty epic name for a tiny house. And the house that bears this name designed by Kokono Wood is entirely deserving of such a name, as it is an ascendant triumph in tiny house design. The home belongs to Le Delliou Sébastien, one of the talented co-founders of Kokono Wood.

The house was designed specifically to be “opulent and bright,” an effect which is achieved through the layout, the materials, the colors, and how they all work together.
The shape of the tiny home is unique and unusual, and stands out immediately thanks to the way the loft is positioned on top of the main structure almost as if it had an independent life of its own. The choice to incorporate two different contrasting colors on the exterior is also a bold move which grabs the eye immediately.
At night, the structure takes on an even more fascinating aspect, as two rows of small lights on the outside following the stripe accent the design.
Sunny colors, house plants, and a well-lit interior exude warmth inside the Ascension.
“Opulent and bright” is certainly a theme which shines continuously through the interior of this lovely home. Even the bathroom is a light, airy space full of cheer.
Out of all the interior shots, the one I am most taken with is this one of the loft. If you follow my posts, you probably are aware by now that I have a tendency to perceive tiny house lofts as cramped. Despite the low ceiling and the pronounced angle, all I can think when I look at this loft is how cozy, inviting, and cheerful it looks! The bright, warm colors and patterns and the huge skylight do a lot to make this space welcoming. I wish I could curl up here and take a nap right now!
Wide open floor space, ample storage, and a well-equipped kitchen make the Ascension the essence of comfort.
Unfortunately there are no more pictures I can share with you of the interior owing to the way they have been posted on the official site (the URLs are irretrievable), but I can share this video with you which takes you on a tour around the gorgeous home.
If you would like to take a look at those pictures for yourself, you can do so by visiting the official Kokono Wood website. There you can also view the rest of the company’s designs and contact them if you would like to order your own tiny house. I also suggest visiting their Facebook!
