Before you go thinking that title is a bit over the top, it isn’t my words—it is the builder SimBLISSity’s, describing their 344-square-foot Valhalla tiny home. As they write, “While one may not find Odin when entering the SimBLISSity 35’ Valhalla, you will find the comforts befitting the Gods.”
However over the top the description of the home is, it is a tremendously beautiful, unique and creative abode. By the time you explore it, you too may find yourself thinking it is “fit for the gods.”
The full measurements of the home are 35′ x 8′ x 13′ 6″. The siding is tongue and groove pine which has been stained a light green color. As you can see, it fits right into its mountain surroundings in this photo. But where things get really magical is when we step inside …
The light tan colors chosen for the walls, floor, ceiling, counters, and cabinetry of this house make it instantly bright, cheerful and inviting. There are windows both high and low to bring in light from all angles.
The bright spots of color that you probably noticed from the previous photo come mainly from the dishes in the kitchen, which also are doubling as décor. There are also decorative, colorful hooks for holding potholders or other items.
In this photo, you also can see the oven and cooktop as well as the deep sink basin.
This builder doesn’t skimp at all when it comes to storage space.
Bathrooms are something which SimBLISSity especially seems to excel with. With its beautiful sink and counter and the lovely tiles on the wall, this room looks like a super welcoming space. You sure can’t complain about the size of the shower either!
Returning to the kitchen, you can look at the refrigerator and freezer.
Back in the bathroom, it is well worth taking a closer look at the vanity, which features live edge wood for a rustic effect. The storage area underneath the sink is kept open for easy access and to make the bathroom feel a bit roomier.
This is one of my favorite photos of the house, because it shows off so many of its best features. On the left, you see a roomy dining table which looks like it can be collapsed against the wall when not needed. It also could be used as a desk.
Next to that is the L-shaped couch with its bright yellow cushions and colorful pillows. Above that are some ornate and unexpected decorative elements which give the home a luxurious feel without making it seem at all pretentious. To the right, the storage steps have a space underneath for stowing your shoes.
Finally, at the top of the steps, you see a unique shelving unit with unusually-sized and shaped spaces for displaying decorative items. The shelves themselves are a work of art.
Round windows add to the eclectic feel of the home. So what is Valhalla like upstairs? Let’s take a look at a loft that is fit for the gods …
Wow. The loft is probably pretty tiny in terms of square feet, but it feels so open and spacious thanks to how well-integrated it is with the main living space!
Plenty of storage is available in the loft!
