If you’re ever traveling through Texas and find yourself needing a break in Del Valle, we’ve found the coziest digs for you! The Kinetohaus tiny house is a full-time residence which is also rented out to visitors through Airbnb for $129 per night. The 240 square foot home can sleep two guests and was once featured on “Tiny House, Big Living”.
The first thing that you’ll notice about this house is its eye-catching exterior featuring an angled metal roof with transparent panels, cedar siding, and a bright yellow front door. Definitely different from your typical tiny house!
Inside, the home is bright and spacious with light wood panels on the walls and hardwood floors. The living room and kitchen are separated by the bathroom walls and ladder to the loft giving definition to the spaces.
In the living room, you have a built-in couch with yellow padding and a wall full of storage for personal items and hanging clothes. A TV is mounted on the wall to save space while still giving you the means to watch your favorite movie in the cozy room.
The kitchen stretches down a wall with wood countertops and open shelving both on top and below. There’s plenty of room to stash your kitchen essentials and the open-concept storage lets you easily see where everything is. There’s also a refrigerator, stove, oven, and washing machine in the kitchen making it well-equipped for your needs during your stay.
On one end of the kitchen, you have an office or dining area with a long bar and a wide window over it. We love the unique design of the bar and the way storage was incorporated.
A separate area in the home is dedicated to the love of coffee and reading. Cubbies line the wall and are filled with books and coffee paraphernalia with a comfy leather chair to enjoy both in.
The bathroom is in the center of the home and features a shower surrounded by corrugated metal, a sink, and composting toilet.
This is not just another bed you rest in overnight. It is a dazzling experience! Superhost Gabriella will amaze you with her cozy tiny house.
