Austin’s Original Tiny Home Hotel is a great place to stay if you’re ever in Austin, Texas. The tiny home community was built to let visitors experience the tiny life while visiting the popular city in hopes that some of them will decide to go home and build their own tiny house. They have several homes to choose from, but we love the Casa Rosa with its rose-colored Victorian-inspired exterior.
Inside, the home has an open floor plan with room for four guests to stay. The walls and ceiling are covered in knotty pine and the ceiling is pitched so the home has an airy feeling.
The kitchen is in the heart of the home and features a small cabinet area with an electric cooktop, refrigerator, and small sink. It’s definitely compact but it gives you everything you need while on vacation!
Upstairs, the loft is extra spacious with room for a queen-sized bed and storage furniture. Functional windows let fresh air breeze through and you also have lamps and light fixtures for when the sun goes down.
Downstairs, the guest bedroom is private with a full-sized bed and built-in nightstands. Three windows give the room plenty of natural light and fresh air.
The Casa Rosa rents for $129 a night and can be booked at http://www.tinyhomeshoteltexas.com/rooms/casa-rosa/.
