We’ve found a friendly little tiny house who’s name screams cordiality: the Hello Tiny Home in Asheville, North Carolina and it’s currently looking for a new owner! This 265 square foot home is cozy from every angle inside or outside. The exterior of the house is wrapped with plank siding and features a large removable deck and large sliding glass doors.
The home was built by a woman named Natalie with the help of a designer from the Nanostead company and was based off of Japanese and Scandinavian styles. In other words, it’s minimalistic yet beautiful!
Inside, the owner used furniture pieces to serve as storage in the kitchen and throughout the house to give the home a warm and “collected” feel. Spices and food items are stored in glass jar on open shelves and cups are hung from hooks.
A large stainless steel sink is on the other side of the kitchen with a butcher block counter and tile backsplash.
You also have a two-burner cook top and she made sure to take advantage of the vertical space with a creative pot rack and magnetic strips for knives.
The living and dining areas are combine into one cozy spot with a long cushioned bench on the wall and a table pulled up to it. The large windows keep the whole home light and bright with sunshine and fresh air.
A bookcase is built on a small wall and holds an extensive collection and it also holds plants and a stereo.
The ladder for the loft is moveable and was painted a pale blue so that it always looks pretty even when not being used.
Upstairs in the loft, a cozy bed is set up with buckets tucked around the perimeter for storage.
The bathroom has a composting toilet with storage overhead and hooks for towels.
The owner lived her quite happily for years but recently she’s encountered trouble with finding a place to park her beloved home and so she’s trying to find a new owner for the Hello Tiny House.
