For anyone who’s ever dreamed of living in a treehouse, you have to see this place! This adorable treehouse in Canada was designed by blogger, Lynne Knowlton who is known for transforming and creating unique homes on her 100-acre property outside of Toronto.
The treehouse is made from reclaimed barn wood so it has a great rustic look to it. It’s complete with a kitchen, living room, loft bedroom, and porches to relax on.
It sits next to another of her properties that she rents out on Airbnb.
The house is definitely rustic looking and almost has a burnt look to it.
We love this porch! Couldn’t you picture spending the day in that hammock while reading a book and napping? And check out the iron work on the porch rails!
The outside and inside blend together with fold away windows. Everything is made cozy with Lynne’s touches such as chunky knit throws and driftwood mobiles.
The kitchen is inviting with white cabinets and wide wooden countertops. The kitchen is a reclaimed piece large enough for pots and pans.
All of the walls and floors are reclaimed wood making it warm and charming inside.
The window over the sink can be swung inside to let the air and light in.
In the corner of the kitchen area is a wood burning stove that heats the treehouse up on chilly nights.
The kitchen and living room are connected and Lynne used an old iron daybed to double as a couch during the day. A space-saving mini fridge is nearby to keep drinks cold.
The wooden ladder leads up to the loft where the bedroom is. Don’t you love the loft railing? The reclaimed pieces make a neat accent in the room.
Here’s a view of the whole treehouse. So much gorgeous wood!
Looking down from the loft, you can really see the beauty of the reclaimed wood floors.
The living space uses the wall joints and studs as storage for art and knick-knacks.
Upstairs, the porch corner is the perfect reading spot with a swinging hammock nest.
Or you can go down below and stretch out in the full-sized hammock! So peaceful!
We could definitely spend some time in this amazing treehouse! What do you think?
