When a hang-glider pilot wanted to focus on his passion of flying, he decided to build this tiny home and live a simple life so he could be free to fly when he wanted. Shangri-Little was built just outside of Chattanooga, TN and is now part of the Tiny House community called Live a Little Chatt.
The home was built with recycled materials and has quite a few surprises up its sleeves. Step inside to see for yourself!
Inside, this tiny house is incredibly warm and cozy thanks to the wood walls and flooring. We love how cozy the rug makes this space feel!
The kitchen has an apartment-sized fridge and plenty of cabinet and counter space. And of course, you have a great wine rack and glass storage underneath.
The kitchen has a table on one end for eating or working and on the other side is the bathroom.
The kitchen flows into the living area with a comfy couch and coffee table. And here’s the first surprise: there’s a full humidor for cigars! That’s definitely not something you see in most tiny houses!
Upstairs, the loft has a comfy bed and large window. But the best part is that you get to the bedroom through that adorable hobbit door!
The bathroom has a full-sized toilet and shower and the builder continued his love for cigars by affixing cigar boxes around the bathroom for storage.
This house even has a rooftop deck where you can gaze at stars all night long!
Now for the final surprise: you can rent this tiny home on Airbnb! It sleeps three and is the perfect getaway spot outside of Chattanooga! Go here to book your stay: http://livealittlechatt.com/shangrilittle-tiny-house/
