With the current state of politics and culture being what it is, it’s always refreshing to see when multiple groups come together to make something beautiful and that’s exactly what happened with our next tiny house. Locati Designs is a talented architecture firm out of Montana and they were contracted to design a tiny log cabin in Toronto, Canada using materials from Oklahoma! The end result is a classic log cabin exterior with a luxurious interior serving as the perfect guest house for the owners.
Oklahoma fieldstone, timber, barn wood, and logs were all transported to Toronto to be used on the tiny house and we love the way they all came together! The cabin looks like something out of a storybook with its stone chimney and cozy covered porch.
Inside, the home is the epitome of rustic elegance with soaring ceilings, cross beams, and a massive stone fireplace. Large windows fill up the outside wall and let natural light flood the warm living room where there’s plenty of room for guests to sit and enjoy the fire.
The bathroom is truly luxurious with a custom high-end cabinet and a sunken sink vessel. The large mirror is framed out in wood and blue tiles wrap the walls and surround the clawfoot tub.
We sure wish we could be guests of these owners!
