Previously on our site, we have featured a couple of tiny houses by Maximus Extreme Living Solutions, The Reagan, and this little house built for an avid skier. Now I want to share another beautiful house from Maximus Extreme with you. This one is called The Acadia™.
With dark brown trim around the windows, a red exterior, white trim for contrast, and some corrugated steel on the siding, this is a charming tiny house with a lot of character. But wait until we take a look inside …
As you can see, the interior is simple, but incredibly warm and inviting. The floor, walls and ceiling are all stunning wood. Warm colors in the furniture and carpeting create a homey atmosphere.
There are two spacious lofts.
Here is another view which gives you a better feel for how the space works together as a whole. The entire structure has a wonderfully open feel. Large windows contribute to that expansive feeling.
The kitchen is pretty small, but that is to be expected in such a tiny space. The Maximus Extreme philosophy of interior design embraces the concept of “shared space,” where each space within a tiny house fulfills multiple functions and flows right into the next.
Here you can see the tiny house hitched up to a truck on its 8’x20’ steel platform. In this shot, you can appreciate just how tiny the house really is. Inside, it sure doesn’t feel like it, does it? Maximus Extreme does do custom designs, so if you are interested in a house like this one, be sure to check out their full portfolio on their official website.
