Zyl Vardos is becoming known for his unique and completely custom tiny houses that definitely stand out from the crowd. His newest one is the “Fuchsia” which is unlike any tiny house that we’ve seen before with intricate details and refreshing color choices. The home has approximately 250 square feet and is 24 feet long.
One of the first things that you notice about this tiny home is the unique roofline that truly sets it apart from other homes. The siding is beautiful stained wood with light green trim, oak windows, and a metal roof.
We also love the custom Dutch door with stained glass inserts that greets you as you enter the charming home. It really sets the tone for the rest of the home.
Inside, the home is covered in natural wood from the floor to the ceiling with handcrafted elements to keep it interesting like the curved stair bases and the trim around the window casings. The home has an open layout with plenty of windows to fill the rooms with natural light.
The windows even have a screen to let you choose to have the windows open completely, or leave the screen closed to keep bugs out while letting fresh air in.
The living room is in the front of the home and has tons of space for a full-sized couch and furniture. A small stove is mounted on the wall to heat the home during cooler seasons without taking up any floor space.
The tall ceilings make the living room feel bigger than it really is and the angle keeps the room interesting with visual appeal. A large skylight lets natural light flood in during the day while unobtrusive wall sconces give a warm glow after the sun goes down.
The kitchen is in the corner of the home and features beautiful wood cabinetry and countertops with stainless steel appliances. A small refrigerator is tucked under the counter and you also have a full-sized oven and cooktop.
The bathroom is off of the kitchen next to the stove with a pocket door to save on floor space.
Inside, you have a stone floor around the toilet and a concrete shower stall.
Across from the kitchen and under the stairs is a large closet which is set up to hold a combo washing and drying machine. There’s also a rod for hanging clothes and a shelf for laundry supplies.
The loft is above the kitchen and has plenty of room for a queen-sized bed and storage furniture. The angles in the ceiling give the room character while two windows let fresh air and natural light fill the bedroom.
