Anytime we’re traveling, we love to try to find tiny houses to stay in instead of boring hotels. If you’re like us, then you’ll love this tiny home in Camden, Maine. The exterior is painted a cheerful yellow shade with gray shingles and a double staircase leading up to the sunroom entrance.
The sunroom is enclosed with windows so you can use the porch in most seasons quite comfortably.
Once inside, you’ll notice that the tiny house is one large room with a built-in bed, small kitchen and seating area. However, it has everything that you need for a comfortable getaway! We love the touches that were added like the branches used to support the end of the kitchen countertop and the chunky exposed beams.
The kitchen has a compact stove and oven as well as a large farmhouse sink set into dark granite countertops. You have a surprising amount of cabinets available for such a small house so you won’t run out of room for storage.
The bathroom is snug but it has all the necessities like a flushable toilet, sink, and a full-size shower stall on the opposite wall.
The main bed is a great design because it provides large storage drawers beneath the mattress which are definitely needed in such a small house!
Upstairs you also have a loft which is great for extra guests to make a pallet in. The loft is accessed by a ladder on a pulley system that can be pulled down into the middle of the living room.
Make sure you book your stay at this charming tiny cottage if you’re ever in Camden!
