We’ve found an absolutely charming tiny house for sale in Canada that you have to see! It was designed and built by the talented team at Robinson Residential Design and definitely stands out from the crowd with its modern lines and features.
Size: 20’,24’,or 28’ long; 159-220sf
Location: Canada
Availability: Private Owner
The Dragonfly model comes in 20’, 24’, and 28’ lengths with a range of 159 to 220 square feet. Each floor plan has one bedroom and one bath and features a fold-up porch with cables mimicking the lines in a dragonfly’s wings.
Inside, the walls and ceilings were left natural and matched the tones in the kitchen so the space feels larger than it really is. The addition of sliding glass doors on both sides of the home also add to the openness.
These huge glass doors are on both sides of the tiny house and let light flood in! You can add curtains like the ones pictured here when you’d like privacy.
The living area has a pull-out sofa bed with built-in storage on both sides so this area can double as a guest room or even as the main sleeping area if you don’t like the idea of climbing to the loft. The curtains on all sides will help darken the room when it’s time to sleep.
Here’s an image of the couch made into a bed with the curtains drawn. We think it’s a cozy spot to catch some z’s!
The kitchen has blonde wood cabinets and white countertops. If you look at the end of the cabinets, you’ll see the small table that can be popped up for dining and then folded away when not in use. The built-in storage area next to the stove top gives you plenty of space to store items.
You have a two-burner stove top and stainless-steel sink plus floating shelves which are always good in small spaces! You can also see the loft in this picture with the skylight above.
Here you can see the storage cabinet next to the kitchen and if you look really hard you can see the ladder that slides into it! When pulled out along the metal rod, it gives you access to the loft!
Not pictured here is the bathroom with a shower, toilet and small sink that’s towards the back of the home.
We think this tiny house has really clever storage ideas which would be great for any tiny house! If you’d like to see the floor plans and learn more about the creative build and design team, visit their website at http://robinsonplans.com/.
