The Small House Catalog is a great place to get inspiration for your own tiny house plans and you can even get fully designed building plans from the company for FREE. One of the floorplans available is for the Beekeeper’s Bungalow which was actually built by one of the company’s owners and his wife. The house is designed for single-level living with an attic bedroom for guests. You’re going to love this 576 square foot tiny house!
Pretty much every part of this tiny house features handcrafted details from the columns on the porch to the stairs inside.
The house has a unique floorplan which is divided by the staircase in the center of the home. Exposed beams cross the ceiling and thick trim gives the home an authentic craftsman feel.
The staircase was put to use by building in a small desk area and closet for storage.
Large windows let natural light fill the home and brighten the white wood accents and walls.
The loft upstairs has plenty of room for guests or small children to have their own place. There’s room for a queen-sized bed and a separate sitting area or you can have two sleeping areas.
The kitchen was given built-in cubbies to store dishes, jars, and cookbooks and a long wooden countertop gives a place for preparing meals. We love everything about this kitchen!
A pale subway tile backsplash blends in nicely with the walls while still adding texture. And of course, you have to put a white farmhouse sink in a tiny house like this!
Charming details fill this house and are what make it truly special. Keep that in mind when designing your own dream tiny house!
