Are you taking a trip to the Smoky Mountains? Before you go to book a stay at a regular hotel, you’ll want to check out the Beaver Creek. This tiny cabin is one of a number of tiny accommodations located on the same premises around 40 minutes away from Gatlinburg in Tennessee.
According to the owner, this tiny cabin is not even 150 square feet.
The owner writes, “BEAVER CREEK is perched among the trees like a beaver structure overlooking a crisp mountain stream and a Pond next to the Cherokee National Forest. We build the cabin from reclaimed farm / barn material. Some material is from the Appalachian area around here and over 100 years old.”
The cabin is surrounded by trees so that you can enjoy your vacation in utter seclusion and tranquility. An umbrella shades a picnic table out in front of the cabin.
For those who live a fast-paced life, a trip to the Beaver Creek tiny cabin provides a chance to slow down and unwind in nature and enjoy a taste of a simpler life.
There is a fire pit with a grill as well as a charcoal grill where you can prepare food outside. Firewood is available for purchase from your hosts.
Interestingly, you can see if you take a closer look at this tiny cabin that it is on wheels—something you can easily miss with the rocks piled up under and around the house.
Check out that huge window along the side of the house! With views like this, you wouldn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to bring the outdoors in, and it is good to see that the builder had that in mind.
The hot tub looks like an amazing spot to relax and get warm! But if you show up during summer when it is hot, you might prefer to take a splash in the pond you see down below.
But after the sun sets, even during the warmer months it would probably be cool enough to use the hot tub sometimes. After all, you are up in the mountains here.
Here is what it is like inside the tiny cabin. A kitchen is available for you to do your own cooking, and there is a DVD player so you can stay entertained after the sun sets.
The kitchen offers counter space, a sink with a high faucet, a microwave, a two-plate electric stove top, and a mini-fridge. This is your chance to find out what cooking in a small kitchen is like. I think that you might be surprised by how easy it is.
I love the little table you see below the window here with the stools stowed under it. I’ve seen this same table at one of the other tiny accommodations on the property.
The couch looks exquisitely comfy!
The corrugated metal walls of the shower carry the rustic ambiance into the stall.
There is a flush toilet next to the shower and shelves behind it. While you won’t need to make use of all the shelving and storage in this house during your stay, it gives you an idea for the type of storage you’d have if you bought your own tiny house.
Here is the lovely room where you’ll be sleeping! It is awesome that it is on the ground floor. It is good to know that there is an accommodation on this site which is accessible to those who cannot climb stairs or ladders.
It is roomier than a loft, and from the bed, you’d have an incredible view through that big window.
There are a lot of great amenities on the site. You can hire a guide to take you hiking, you can pay $15 for use of a wood-fired sauna, and you can even pay to have a thirty minute or one hour massage.
Want to find out more, or book your reservation? As of the time of this writing, it costs just $88 a night to stay in this tiny cabin. Book your stay here.
