What was once a dingy laundry boiler room has been transformed into a stylish modern tiny house known as the “Brick House” thanks to the genius people at Azevedo Design. The home is 8’x11’ and has 93 square feet but somehow it has everything you need to live comfortably!
Inside the Brick House, you have a full kitchen with frosted glass cabinets and stainless steel counters. A slim table is in front of the cabinets with built-in fold-out cushions that can be used for dining or as a couch. Extra cushions are under the stairs which can be used for seating on the landing.
The living area can be used fully by simply stowing the table out of the way under the stairs.
The second floor is reached by a ships’ ladder which takes you to a bathroom and dressing area. The bathroom has a wall mounted toilet and a custom vanity area with a stainless steel cabinet. The small sink doubles as your shower with a drain in the floor for water.
Another ladder takes you up to the bedroom where a cozy queen bed is set up with custom wall storage and a large skylight to keep the room feeling light and airy.
It’s amazing to see what this talented design firm created out of such a small space!
