It is easy to make assumptions about what you will have to give up if you move into a tiny house. But quite a few tiny houses include those same luxurious features you might think you’ll need to do without.
If you have been trying to decide between a tiny house or a larger one with a huge porch, maybe you don’t have to! One amazing tiny house for sale in South Carolina right now boasts a small footprint and a spacious porch you’ll have to see to believe.
The house measures 415 square feet. This makes it larger than many other tiny houses, but still well within the standard definition where 500 square feet represents about the upper end.
You can see that the amount of outdoor living space is truly astonishing with the wide sheltered porch which spans from one end of the building to the other. The bedroom doors open directly out onto the porch. Because they are so wide themselves, you can essentially open the bedroom up to the outdoors.
The red siding and stain on the porch give the home an inviting glow.
You could set up quite a few tables and chairs out here if you wanted to throw a large party. This house was designed with entertaining in mind. That is something else that you don’t have to give up just because you are moving into a smaller home!
The interior features a long, uninterrupted flow of space with comfortable seating looking out through the windows and a kitchen beyond on the way to the bedroom.
The master bedroom is not the only one, as it turns out. Here you see another smaller bedroom with a raised bed in an alcove and bright light spilling in through the window. The walls are lined with some artistic shelves which are decorative in their own right.
The angle of the lens used to take this picture leaves some things to be desired, but you can still make sense of the kitchen. There is an oven and range with four burners, what looks like granite countertops, and regularly spaced shelves above. To the right there is room for the fridge and freezer.
Across from these, the rest of the kitchen cabinets are waiting along with contrasting wood countertops, a large farmhouse sink placed at an unusual angle, and some more appliances (a dishwasher and a washing machine, I believe). The cabinets are in contrasting colors and styles, an unusual but imaginative choice.
With its stonework walls and natural stone shelves, the bathroom is among the most luxurious rooms in the home. There is a flush toilet, a vessel sink made out of glass, a minimal mirror, and a large shower with glass doors and a removable showerhead. The bathroom alone with its features adds a lot of value to the house.
Finally, our tour brings us around to the amazing master bedroom! This space features contrasting wood walls.
The doors take up about half of the wall from what I can see! So when you open them wide, you let in tons of fresh air. Imagine luxuriating on that bed and enjoying a soft breeze with the sunlight playing over your closed eyes. Now that’s how you drift off for an afternoon nap!
