“The Intellectual” is a tiny house designed by Roostspace out of Colorado. Starting with a shipping container, a tiny homeowner turned builder transforms the space into a one bedroom/one bathroom 320 square foot. Next, a designer out of California gives it sleek and modern style with functionality and design in mind. The end result is a sight to behold with pricing starting at $54,000.
The interior of the home has an excellent layout and design with white walls, light gray floors, and modern styling. The living area is in the center of the home and it features a fireplace with plenty of room for either a couch or two comfy chairs. Double French doors lead outside and also let natural light flood inside.
The kitchen has sleek cabinets with beautiful wood countertops and overhead cabinets to double your storage space. Stainless steel appliances include a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and cooktop making the kitchen not only attractive but also fully capable.
A stainless steel sink has a large basin with a modern faucet that matches the backsplash.
Frosted glass doors were chosen for the upper cabinets giving the airiness of open shelving with the protection of closed cabinets.
The bathroom is off of the kitchen behind a sliding barn door. The large room has a custom vanity area with large storage drawers and a vessel sink. Next to the sink is a laundry area with a combo washing and drying machine.
There’s also a shower stall with a tile surround and stone floor.
The bedroom is on the end of the home and features a queen-sized bed with a storage closet that serves as a partial wall for privacy.
