Love the idea of living in a vintage converted motorhome? Right now, there is a stunning 1994 Ford F-350 Corsair Execllor for sale with 60,000 miles on it and a lot of love and creativity put into it. Let’s check it out!
The current owners write, “We fully renovated it ourselves and travelled in it for some month through Canada and the US so we can tell you its an awesome travel buddy and everything works perfectly fine. With the solar panel on the roof you are totally independent and can enjoy the most beautiful campsites.”
It looks like an ordinary motorhome from the outside, but you will be stunned when you see how the current owners have transformed this place so that it really feels like a home.
Directly across from the front door is a comfortably-sized table next to a large window. Looking toward the back of the vehicle, you can see the small kitchen, which features a microwave, stove, fridge and freezer. Before you get to the fridge, there are a number of storage cabinets and drawers.
The kitchen is something that I can comment on because it is almost exactly the same size and layout as the kitchen in the tiny home where I reside. It is true that there is almost no counter space. But I have discovered that it is possible to prepare most meals, even those with many steps, in such a small space. Covering the sink with a cutting board as you see here helps a great deal.
It may not feel like it starting out, but you will get used to it. And before long, you wonder why you ever thought you needed a big kitchen.
Here is a different angle which gives you a better idea for the size of the table as well as the benches to either side of it. Above the large window is additional storage space.
There is a large skylight near the front door which brings in a lot of natural illumination.
This is something else which I can comment favorably upon. As someone who has lived in RV Parks, I can tell you that however many big, beautiful windows you might have, you will probably spend most of your time with them covered up to preserve your privacy. You will get tired of looking out at the park residents, and will become even more tired of them looking in at you.
Unfortunately, that tends to keep natural light to a minimum, especially on cloudy days. So having a skylight can really come in handy since it brings in that natural light you need without compromising your privacy.
There is an extra bed which is perfect for a child.
This little “bedroom” even has a little skylight of its own.
If you do not need an extra bed in this space, you could use it for storage.
What I thought was a fridge and freezer to the right (with the chalkboard paint on it) might actually be a set of cabinets. I’m not positive.
Even though the bathroom is small, it is a proper room of its own (which is nice to see in a motorhome, particularly one that isn’t gargantuan).
The shower actually looks to be pretty roomy, another nice surprise.
The home is currently located in San Diego, and is for sale for just $30,000, which appears to be an excellent price. If you want to learn more about this renovated 1994 Ford F-350 Corsair Execllor, or contact the seller, visit the post at Tiny House Marketplace.
