Nick Olson and Lilah Horwitz still remember watching the sun set while they were on their first date ever. It was such a special moment in such a beautiful spot that they decided to find a way to capture it and carry it with them through time.
How did they do that? By building a tiny house right on that same spot. It’s hard to think of a more romantic gesture than that!
The location is in West Virginia. Surrounded by woodlands, the house is situated on a slight incline and is raised up on stilts to offer a better view.
The couple came up with the idea of making the front face of the house all windows.
That way they would be able to enjoy the sunset, just as they did when they were on their first date together.
Quite an eclectic combination of windows were arranged together to form the front face of the house.
As you can see, they had to spend quite a bit of time on ladders getting everything in place.
Almost done now …
And voila! The romantic house of windows is complete.
